The Finnish Grand Prix will not be held in 2022. Homologation work at the KymiRing, along with the risks caused by the current geopolitical situation in the region, have forced the cancellation of the long-awaited Grand Prix, which will not reappear on the MotoGP calendar until 2023.

All parties have agreed that the track’s debut should be postponed to next season, when MotoGP hopes to return to Finland for the first time in four decades.
