Moto3 San Marino 2019 – Rider statements
Alonso López
I’m happy because I think we found the right way to work, but at the same time I’m a little displeased because I think I could have had a very good race and been in one of the first two groups.
It’s a shame about the crash, which happened when overtaking Kornfeil and losing the rear. Now we have to focus on MotorLand, which is a circuit that I like, one of my favourites and a home round.
Sergio García
The crash came when I was in the group fighting for points, when I had already passed a lot of riders and was making a good comeback. I’m happy with the start I made, but at Turn 8 I went down. I still don’t know exactly what happened, but it’s a pity.
We have to keep going, continue working and think about the next race. It’s in Aragon, a circuit that I already know, so I hope everything will be a little easier.
