Bagnaia gets pole position at Le Mans, with Marc Márquez just behind him in second place

French GP Qualifying Results

Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) was the fastest rider in qualifying for the French GP, with a time of 1:30.705. Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) and Luca Marini (Ducati) will accompany him on the front row of the grid at Le Mans.

Jack Miller (KTM), Jorge Martín (Ducati), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati), Álex Márquez (Ducati), Johann Zarco (Ducati) and Brad Binder (KTM) completed the Top 10.

The Sprint Race at the French GP takes place on Saturday at 3:00 PM (CEST).

Mixed results for Repsol Honda Team

Marc Márquez was just 0.058s off Bagnaia’s pole time after an excellent qualifying session. The eight-time World Champion will start from the front row for the third time this season.

Joan Mir could not get out of Q1 and will start 16th thanks to his 1:31.810. He will be on the sixth row of the grid in both races.
