The MotoGP World Championship is once again at fever pitch, and it looks like we are in for an incredible season. Riders that have sported the Repsol colours in the past wanted to share their thoughts on who will end up first, second, and third places in the 2017 World Championship.

Ángel Nieto

12 + 1-time World Champion. Ángel Nieto is a true living legend of Spanish motorcycling. Ángel raced with Repsol sponsorship in several seasons, riding the legendary red bullet by Derbi among other bikes. Here are his bets for this year:

First place: Marc Márquez/Viñales

Second place: Marc Márquez/Viñales

Third place: Valentino Rossi

A Repsol rider from 1995 until 2001, Álex was the first Spaniard to win the 500cc world title in 1999. This rider, who is highly respected for his achievements, thinks that this year’s championship will be tightly fought out between Marc and Maverick. Here are his predictions:

Nicky Hayden

MotoGP World Champion in 2006, Nicky is one of the Repsol Honda Team’s legendary riders. The American came back last year to race alongside Marc Márquez, filling in for Dani Pedrosa at Phillip Island. Nicky thinks the rider from Cervera is the hot favourite to take home the title of World Champion this year. Here are his bets:
