“I started very motivated and with good feelings. After achieving the title, I wanted to win again. The result at the Czech Republic was good, but I wasn’t completely satisfied. We did changes and the result was very positive. It was a great victory, with good feelings. I’m thankful for the excellent job the team did this year. I like a lot competing here in Italy. The public likes it a lot and I also value it and try to do good races.”

Takahisa Fujinami

“Today I’m not happy. Finishing 20 consecutive years among the top 5 in the World Championship is very good, very important, because I think nobody had ever done it, but today it didn’t go well. I finished the last four races very badly and here I’m finishing with the worst result… I can’t celebrate the milestone of being 20 years in the ‘top five’. But that will serve to see which things didn’t go well and which things I need to change for next year.”

Jaime Busto

“I’m very happy to achieve the third place in the championship. I didn’t start well today, but I gained confidence and I saw that I could be ahead. I think I fought well, because I finished behind Toni and I’m satisfied of how the day went. I knew that I had the third place within reach, but I also wanted to finish with a good race. Now we’ll work so that we can be even better next year.”
