Winner of national 500cc and Superbike competitions in Japan, this skilled rider got two podiums in the 1995 and 1996 seasons when he proudly wore the Repsol Honda Team colours. Itoh raced for Honda again in 2002 and 2011 as a Wildcard.

+3 from Takuma Aoki

Takuma Aoki competed in the Repsol Honda Team for one season, in which he racked up three podiums. After an unfortunate accident which caused him to lose the use of his legs in 1998, Aoki continues to compete in rallies such as the Dakar.

+4 from Alex Barros

Alex was with us during 2004 and made up the Repsol Honda team alongside Nicky Hayden. During this year, he came in second place once and third place three times, finishing the season in a respectable fourth place in the world standings.

+5 from Sete Gibernau

Today he is a familiar face in the paddock as Dani Pedrosa’s personal assistant, but he also raced for the Repsol Honda Team in 1998, 1999, and 2000. During this time, he shared the Box with two world champions — Álex Crivillé and Mick Doohan — and racked up five podiums.

+10 from Tohru Ukawa

06_tohru_ukawa

Five-time winner of the Suzuka 8 Hours, Tohru Ukawa, was part of the team in 2001 and 2002. He is the only official Repsol Honda Team rider to have raced in both 500cc and MotoGP. During these two years competing in the two different categories, Ukawa got a total of 10 podiums, one in 500cc and the rest in MotoGP.

+15 from Andrea Dovizioso

Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner’s teammate in the Box, Dovi was a Repsol Honda rider from 2009 to 2011. In this period, the Italian obtained 15 important podiums for the team.

A Repsol Honda Team legend, Okada proudly wore our colours from 1996 to 2000. He stepped onto the podium 21 times in his career with Repsol Honda, and in 1997 he was runner-up in the world championship just behind his teammate Mick Doohan.

We’re still getting over the loss of this great rider. He was MotoGP world champion in 2006 and racked up 25 podiums for our team. Thanks for each and every one of them, Nicky!

+26 from Casey Stoner

The Australian was with us during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Two thrilling years in which Casey managed to obtain 26 podiums and the title of world champion.

+31 from Valentino Rossi

Rossi was unbeatable during his time with the Repsol Honda Team from 2002 to 2003. He got 31 podiums in 32 races: no less than 96% of the podiums that he could possibly achieve!

+44 from Álex Crivillé

Alex gave us 44 podiums from 1995 to 2001. In this time, he was also the first Spaniard to be crowned world champion in 1999.

+48 from Mick Doohan

carpeta62_9_alberto_puig_doohan_criville_gppaul_ricard_1996

How can we forget the achievements of the person who was for many the first Repsol rider! Mike took away five MotoGP world championship titles, four of which were with the team. He was the first to take the Repsol Honda Team to the highest levels of competition and put us on the podium 48 times.

+55 from Marc Márquez

Three-time MotoGP world champion, the rider from Cervera just keeps adding to the team’s total. In five years, he has racked up a mere (55) podiums, and who knows where it will end!

+107 from Dani Pedrosa

In his 12 years on the team, Dani has given us some unforgettable moments. We’ve been with him in the good times and the bad. What’s for certain is that Dani has stepped onto the podium over 100 times: over a quarter of the total of all the team’s podiums!

Thanks to the riders, all the people who make up the team, and to you, the fans. We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support. And now, let’s aim for 500!
