For many fans, watching the Motorcycle World Championship every Sunday morning is a ritual. In the case of the third protagonist of Box Repsol’s ‘Fan Stories’ series, it is a tradition that he has had to combine with ecclesiastical obligations. Francisco Suárez is the pastor of Santo Domingo de la Calzada cathedral, in La Rioja, Spain, and his love for motorcycles has allowed him to house Marc Márquez’ MotoGP bike in his place of worship.

Box Repsol are looking for the most unique fans, and Suárez’ story is one of a biker who also works as a priest in Santo Domingo de la Calzada cathedral. He has been a loyal fan of motorcycle racing for several decades, meaning he has had to combine his Sunday activities with keeping up with Grand Prix events.

This Ángel Nieto fan is the third protagonist of the ‘Fan Stories’ series, in which Box Repsol commemorate Repsol’s 50 years in motorsport competitions, in addition to the 25 years of their alliance with Honda in the Motorcycle World Championship premier class.
