La extinta <strong>cilindrada de 350cc<\/strong> fue la que arranc\u00f3 el Mundial de Motociclismo en 1949. La primera carrera que se celebr\u00f3 para el reci\u00e9n creado Campeonato del Mundo de Motociclismo, se realiz\u00f3 el 13 de junio de 1949 en la Isla de Man. La categor\u00eda desapareci\u00f3 en 1982.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fueron campeones de esta cilindrada, entre otros nombres destacados: John Surtees, Jim Redman, Mike Hailwood y Giacomo Agostini, que lleg\u00f3 a ganar 7 de sus t\u00edtulos con estas motos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En funci\u00f3n de la \u00e9poca existieron motores de todo tipo, de uno y varios cilindros y con <strong>potencias entre los 30 y m\u00e1s de 60 caballos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2022\/08\/08112445\/jim-redman-honda-350cc-1965.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jim Redman pilotando una Honda de 350cc<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La cilindrada de 250cc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La que fue categor\u00eda intermedia hasta hace pocos a\u00f1os y precursora de la actual Moto2. La cilindrada de 250cc comenz\u00f3 su primera carrera mundialista el 15 de junio de 1949 en el mismo escenario en el que se celebraba la de 350cc dos d\u00edas antes, y realiz\u00f3 su \u00faltima prueba el 8 de noviembre de 2009 en el GP de Valencia. Si bien, <strong>en 2012 la cilindrada volvi\u00f3 al Mundial con el nuevo nombre de Moto3<\/strong>, como la categor\u00eda inferior como veremos m\u00e1s adelante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los motores utilizados pasaron por m\u00faltiples \u00e9pocas, comenzando por motores monocil\u00edndricos de cuatro tiempos, llegando a ver modelos de seis cilindros en paralelo y acabando en modelos bicil\u00edndricos de dos tiempos en las \u00e9pocas m\u00e1s recientes. Las potencias se vieron incrementadas desde poco m\u00e1s de 20 caballos hasta cifras cercanas a los 90 caballos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sito Pons, Dani Pedrosa y Daijiro Katoh lograron ganar t\u00edtulos Mundiales en esta cilindrada con el patrocinio de Repsol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Galer\u00eda de 250cc<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"br-slider-box\"><div 500cc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El 17 de junio de 1949, finalizando la semana de carreras que inaugur\u00f3 el Mundial de Motociclismo, se celebr\u00f3 la primera carrera de la Categor\u00eda Reina. La Isla de Man volvi\u00f3 a ser el escenario.<strong> La cilindrada disput\u00f3 pruebas de forma ininterrumpida hasta 2002<\/strong>, cuando las \u00faltimas 500cc se enfrentaron en pista con las nuevas MotoGP de 990cc de cuatro tiempos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originalmente contaban con motores monocil\u00edndricos de cuatro tiempos que daban cerca de los 50 caballos de potencia, pero con el tiempo<strong> la evoluci\u00f3n de estos motores<\/strong>, as\u00ed como de la categor\u00eda,<strong> fue aumentando de manera espectacular<\/strong>. Se llegaron a ver motores de hasta seis cilindros, el paso a los dos tiempos, con motores de dos y cuatro cilindros en V y potencias de m\u00e1s de 200 caballos como los que rend\u00edan las <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxrepsol.com\/es\/tecnologia\/evolucion-del-motor-la-honda-nsr500\/\">Honda NSR500<\/a> del Equipo Repsol Honda que pilotaron leyendas como Mick Doohan y \u00c1lex Crivill\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La categor\u00eda de sidecars disputada desde el comienzo del Mundial us\u00f3 motores de cuatro y luego dos tiempos con esta cilindrada desde 1951, tanto en configuraciones en l\u00ednea, como en V y boxer, habiendo usado antes propulsores de 600cc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Galer\u00eda de 500cc<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div 125cc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El 3 de julio de 1949 en el Gran Premio de Suecia se realiz\u00f3 la primera carrera de la que ser\u00eda durante a\u00f1os <strong>la categor\u00eda inferior del Mundial hasta la llegada de las 50cc<\/strong>. La cilindrada de 125cc disput\u00f3 el Mundial hasta el a\u00f1o 2011, tras el cual fue sustituida por la actual Moto3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La potencia subi\u00f3 desde los 15 caballos hasta cerca de los 50, pasando tambi\u00e9n por \u00e9pocas de motores mono y multi-cil\u00edndricos as\u00ed como de los cuatro a los dos tiempos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es la cilindrada en la que Repsol logr\u00f3 su primer Campeonato del Mundo de la mano de \u00c1ngel Nieto en 1971 en una Derbi 125 Twin y la categor\u00eda por la que much\u00edsimos campeones como \u00c1lex Crivill\u00e9, Marc M\u00e1rquez o Dani cilindrada de 50cc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El 1 de mayo de 1962 en el GP de Espa\u00f1a disputado en el trazado de Montjuich se disput\u00f3 el primer GP del Campeonato del Mundo de la categor\u00eda de 50cc. La m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a de las cilindradas usadas en el Mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cilindrada <strong>disput\u00f3 pruebas de forma continuada hasta 1983<\/strong>. Al igual que en el resto de categor\u00edas, las 50cc sufrieron una gran evoluci\u00f3n a lo largo de los a\u00f1os en que corrieron. Utilizaron motores monocil\u00edndricos y bicil\u00edndricos que comenzaron con potencias menores a los 10 caballos y subiendo casi hasta los 20. Lo hizo a lomos de la Derbi GP 80, una m\u00e1quina que evolucion\u00f3 Paco Tombas, quien en su d\u00eda hab\u00eda preparado las motos de \u00c1ngel Nieto en 50 y 125cc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La cilindrada de 990cc, MotoGP en sus primeros a\u00f1os<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2002 la normativa respecto a la M\u00e1xima Categor\u00eda del Mundial cambi\u00f3 para sustituir las contaminantes motos de 500cc y dos tiempos por motores de cuatro tiempos y 990cc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde ese a\u00f1o hasta 2006, la nueva categor\u00eda de MotoGP us\u00f3 esa nueva cilindrada, la de mayor cubicaje usada hasta la fecha en el Mundial, con motores de cuatro y cinco cilindros, como en el caso de la<strong> Honda RC211V que logr\u00f3 tres Campeonatos del Mundo para el Equipo Repsol Honda <\/strong>de la mano de <strong>Valentino Rossi<\/strong> y <strong>Nicky Hayden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los propulsores en el primer a\u00f1o rend\u00edan potencias sobre los 210 caballos y llegaron a superar los 260 en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o que disputaron carreras.<strong> La evoluci\u00f3n que se vivi\u00f3 en esos a\u00f1os marc\u00f3 un antes y un despu\u00e9s<\/strong> cilindrada de 800cc, MotoGP 2007 a 2011<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el cambio de normativa de 2007, los fabricantes se vieron obligados a rebajar la cilindrada de los motores hasta los 800cc. Esto implic\u00f3<strong> una remodelaci\u00f3n completa de los propulsores<\/strong> de todos los constructores y la adopci\u00f3n de motores de cuatro cilindros en l\u00ednea y en V por parte de estos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las potencias disminuyeron hasta los 220 caballos y fueron subiendo hasta unos 230. En 2019 cambi\u00f3 el reglamento y se pas\u00f3 a utilizar motores tricil\u00edndricos de 765cc de la marca Triumph que rinden en torno a los 140 CV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si bien hist\u00f3ricamente hubo una cilindrada de 750cc en los a\u00f1os 70, nunca lleg\u00f3 oficialmente a formar parte del Mundial de Motociclismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> logr\u00f3 el Campeonato del Mundo en 2012 a lomos de una de estas m\u00e1quinas y su hermano <strong>\u00c1lex M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> lo hizo en 2019 con el nuevo motor Triumph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 cilindrada de 250cc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2012 aparec\u00edan las Moto3 para ocupar el puesto de las 125cc y convertirse as\u00ed en la nueva categor\u00eda de entrada al Mundial de Motociclismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El reglamento establece el uso de motores prototipo monocil\u00edndricos de 250cc y cuatro tiempos que, con limitaciones en la electr\u00f3nica, revoluciones m\u00e1ximas y elementos concretos limitados rinden en torno a los 50 caballos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En 2014 \u00c1lex M\u00e1rquez lograba el Campeonato del Mundo de esta categor\u00eda<\/strong>, tras una cilindrada de 1.000cc: MotoGP 2012 hasta hoy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De nuevo cambios en la normativa obligaban a los fabricantes a buscar nuevas soluciones. El reglamento permite ahora motores de cuatro cilindros y hasta 1.000cc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos nuevos motores son tetracil\u00edndricos en l\u00ednea o en V a 90\u00ba y con potencias que rondan los 230 caballos inicialmente.
