Pero si hay una \u2018touring\u2019 que ha marcado el camino, ha sido sin duda la Gold Wing de Honda. Al margen de ser la moto m\u00e1s lujosa de la <strong>marca japonesa<\/strong>, fue tambi\u00e9n <strong>pionera<\/strong> en el arte de convertir un veh\u00edculo de dos ruedas en compa\u00f1ero infalible con el que recorrer grandes distancias. Tenemos que remontarnos a 1974 para conocer los or\u00edgenes de esta <strong>inigualable motocicleta<\/strong>: la GL 1000, que no empezar\u00eda a comercializarse hasta el a\u00f1o siguiente. Era un modelo sin carenado, ni <strong>pantalla,<\/strong> ni <strong>alforjas<\/strong>; de 1.000cc, <strong>refrigeraci\u00f3n l\u00edquida<\/strong> y cuatro cilindros colocados de manera horizontal. Tambi\u00e9n incorporaba <strong>maletas<\/strong> y <strong>ba\u00fal trasero<\/strong>. Y, como extra, <strong>equipo de sonido<\/strong>, que ya se ha convertido en un elemento inconfundible. \u00bfQui\u00e9n no ha coincidido en un sem\u00e1foro con una de estas maravillas y se ha preguntado de d\u00f3nde demonios sale esa m\u00fasica? Con el paso de los a\u00f1os llegaron el <strong>ordenador de a bordo<\/strong>, los motores de seis cilindros y hasta 1.800cc, el <strong>airbag<\/strong> (el primero del mundo instalado en una moto) y las l\u00edneas cada vez m\u00e1s redondeadas.
