Se define como el volumen total de aire y carburante que desplaza el pist\u00f3n en su recorrido dentro del cilindro o, lo que es lo mismo, el volumen \u00fatil dentro del cilindro cuando el pist\u00f3n se encuentra en su punto muerto inferior. En el caso de un motor monocil\u00edndrico o de un cilindro, la cilindrada total nos la indica un solo elemento. Sin embargo, en propulsores de m\u00e1s de un cilindro, para conocer la cilindrada total hay que multiplicar la cilindrada unitaria de cada uno (que suele ser la misma) por el n\u00famero de cilindros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"584\" src=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071805\/Foto-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130091\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071805\/Foto-2.jpg 750w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071805\/Foto-2-300x234.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En consecuencia, <strong>la cilindrada es una caracter\u00edstica muy importante<\/strong> de un motor, porque de ella dependen, en gran medida, los <strong>valores m\u00e1ximos de potencia y par<\/strong>. A igualdad de dise\u00f1o, cuanto mayor es la cilindrada, m\u00e1s mezcla de combustible y aire puede entrar en el motor, y la combusti\u00f3n que se produce libera m\u00e1s energ\u00eda y, por tanto, el rendimiento es mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"664\" src=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071807\/Foto-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130093\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071807\/Foto-3.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071807\/Foto-3-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071807\/Foto-3-768x510.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFEn_que_influye_la_cilindrada_de_una_moto\"><\/span><strong>\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 influye la cilindrada de una moto?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, que un propulsor tenga m\u00e1s cilindrada que otro <strong>no asegura que sus cifras de potencia y par sean superiores<\/strong>. Estas tambi\u00e9n dependen de la combusti\u00f3n y la relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n. <strong>La combusti\u00f3n<\/strong> que se produce dentro del cilindro es la reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica que libera la energ\u00eda que provoca el desplazamiento del pist\u00f3n. De ah\u00ed que cuanto mayor es la cantidad de combustible y ox\u00edgeno que se introduce en el cilindro, mayor es la &nbsp;combusti\u00f3n y, por tanto, produce m\u00e1s energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, la generaci\u00f3n de potencia en el interior de un motor depende igualmente de la presi\u00f3n a la que comienza la combusti\u00f3n. A m\u00e1s presi\u00f3n, m\u00e1s violenta es la combusti\u00f3n y m\u00e1s rendimiento se consigue. Por este motivo, los propulsores se dise\u00f1an de forma que la mezcla gaseosa de carburante y oxigeno llegue a comprimirse en un espacio muy reducido llamado c\u00e1mara de combusti\u00f3n. Cuanto menor es la citada c\u00e1mara, m\u00e1s alta es <strong>la relaci\u00f3n de compresi\u00f3n<\/strong>, lo que se traduce en una mayor liberaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda y, por consiguiente, en m\u00e1s potencia.<a id=\"_msocom_1\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"957\" src=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071811\/Foto-4-1024x957.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130095\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071811\/Foto-4-1024x957.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071811\/Foto-4-300x280.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071811\/Foto-4-768x717.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071811\/Foto-4.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Los motores de moto que se fabrican para circular por la calle, est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para que <strong>gasten poca gasolina<\/strong>, <strong>sean fiables<\/strong> y <strong>no requieran demasiado mantenimiento<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de que las emisiones y el ruido se adapten a <strong>las normativas vigentes<\/strong>. Por estos motivos y por lo general, el rendimiento que ofrecen se aleja un tanto del m\u00e1ximo al que podr\u00edan llegar. Sin embargo, en competici\u00f3n los propulsores se \u201caprietan\u201d m\u00e1s y, aunque tambi\u00e9n es necesario que sean fiables, no es necesario que duren tanto tiempo como los motores que utilizan las motos de serie, y se sustituyen o reparan cada poco tiempo. Con la misma cilindrada, un motor con m\u00e1s cilindros puede girar a m\u00e1s revoluciones que uno con menos, lo que le permite conseguir m\u00e1s potencia con mayor facilidad. Esto se debe principalmente al peso de elementos como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxrepsol.com\/es\/tecnologia\/partes-de-una-moto-sabes-cuales-son\/\">los pistones y las bielas<\/a>. Cuanto mayor es el peso de los citados componentes, m\u00e1s le cuesta girar al motor y menor es el n\u00famero de revoluciones que puede alcanzar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cilindrada afecta tambi\u00e9n a los costes de producci\u00f3n, al precio, al tama\u00f1o y al peso. Sin embargo, en la calle, salvo los modelos de 125 cc, el resto no se deben atener a ninguna reglamentaci\u00f3n en lo que respecta al cubicaje de sus respectivos motores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es cierto que en Espa\u00f1a existen dos tipos de carn\u00e9 para conducir motos de m\u00e1s de 125 cc, pero estos <strong>atienden a la potencia y no a la cilindrada<\/strong>. Prueba de ello es que <strong>el permiso A2<\/strong>, conocido popularmente como \u201ccarnet limitado\u201d, permite conducir modelos de hasta 35 kW de potencia m\u00e1xima, que pueden ser de media cilindrada y adaptarse a esa cifra, o tambi\u00e9n de gran cilindrada y estar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxrepsol.com\/es\/tecnologia\/que-pedirle-a-tu-tubo-de-escape\/\">homologados<\/a> para poderse limitar a esa potencia. As\u00ed, por ejemplo, en el mercado se pueden encontrar algunas motos de 500 cc que rinden 35 kW, u otras con cerca de 1.000 cc e incluso m\u00e1s, que ofrecen esa misma potencia por estar limitadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"439\" src=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071819\/Foto-7-1024x439.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130101\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071819\/Foto-7-1024x439.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071819\/Foto-7-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071819\/Foto-7-768x330.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071819\/Foto-7-1536x659.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2026\/04\/07071819\/Foto-7.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Por tanto, m\u00e1s que por tipo de cilindrada, en Espa\u00f1a y en el resto de la Uni\u00f3n Europea, las motos <strong>se clasifican por potencia, tama\u00f1o y tipo<\/strong>. As\u00ed podemos encontrar peque\u00f1as, medianas, grandes o s\u00faper grandes, y tambi\u00e9n trail, naked, deportivas, scooter, retro o custom, y, en todos los casos, con cilindradas muy variadas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sin tener en cuenta los ciclomotores de 50 cc y las motos de 125 cc, que por reglamentaci\u00f3n no pueden no pueden superar las
