M\u00e1rquez finally crossed the finish line seventh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pol Espargar\u00f3<\/strong> made progress after a difficult weekend in Malaysia. The <strong>Repsol Honda Team<\/strong> rider, who started twentieth on the grid after a penalty he received on Friday, ran a good pace and finished fourteenth, picking up 2 points.<\/p>\n<p>After the <strong>Malaysian Grand Prix,<\/strong> Marc M\u00e1rquez is 12th in the overall standings with 113 points, whilst Pol Espargar\u00f3 is 16th with 56 points.<\/p>\n<p>                    <a\n Qualifying was above and beyond and this is more or less what I was expecting from our race. We gave our 100% all race to achieve the best possible result, we started really well but I saw I didn\u2019t have the speed to stay with the leaders. I tried to find my place and avoid taking any unneeded risks and get some good information from the race. I did everything that Honda asked me so I am optimistic they will use this information to improve in the future. Now we can start to prepare for Valencia after a difficult weekend, because here we could see the level of our bike. Finally we were able to get two points here, gaining six places.
