Marc M\u00e1rquez and Pol Espargar\u00f3 were among the fastest riders on track, qualifying on the second and third rows of the grid.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the close times in Free Practice in the morning, the two <strong>Repsol Honda Team<\/strong> riders managed to go directly into Q2, with Espargar\u00f3 occupying seventh position and M\u00e1rquez eighth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> also <strong>led FP4<\/strong>, showing a strong pace for tomorrow&#8217;s race. In Q2 he set a best time of 1:46.736, just 4 tenths off pole position, and claimed <strong>fourth place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pol Espargar\u00f3<\/strong> was inside the Top 10 during every session, and finished Q2 in <strong>eighth<\/strong> thanks to a 1:47.194. He was 8 tenths behind poleman Francesco Bagnaia.<\/p>\n<p>The MotoGP Aragon GP will take place tomorrow at<strong> 2pm local time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Rider statements<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23MM93&amp;src=hashtag_click\">#MM93<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Today we finished fourth, this was our main target so that\u2019s good. In Free Practice 4 I felt really good on used tyres so that\u2019s a positive and I was able to ride in a good way. Tomorrow let\u2019s see what my condition is and then see if we can fight in the front group for the whole race. Our pace is there and we\u2019re able to make the lap time but 23 laps around Aragon will be long. Let\u2019s see what happens and we will try to take the most from whatever our situation is.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23POL44&amp;src=hashtag_click\">#POL44<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I wanted a bit more today and I think we had potential to be on the second row. I made two big, big mistakes during our time attack \u2013 at the last corner I went super wide and when it\u2019s this tight you can\u2019t make mistakes. In Silverstone my lap was perfect, here I made mistakes and I paid for them. The good point is that even with mistakes we are in eighth, we left time on track and that is disappointing but in the past this situation would have ended with a crash or in 12th and we are able to take eighth place now.
