{"id":98357,"date":"2021-09-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-07T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pre.boxrepsol.com\/uncategorized\/repsol-honda-team-ready-for-aragon-grand-prix\/"},"modified":"2021-09-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-09-07T02:00:00","slug":"repsol-honda-team-ready-for-aragon-grand-prix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boxrepsol.com\/en\/motogp-en\/repsol-honda-team-ready-for-aragon-grand-prix\/","title":{"rendered":"Repsol Honda Team ready for Arag\u00f3n Grand Prix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fortnight on from the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, MotoGP now moves on to <strong>MotorLand<\/strong>, a track that has been the scene of good results for the<strong> Repsol Honda Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> arrives at the Arag\u00f3n Grand Prix feeling good, and with the main objective of further consolidating his progress riding the Honda RC213V.<\/p>\n<p>With a total of<strong> six victories<\/strong> at MotorLand -including consecutive wins in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019)- the eight-time World Champion is the most successful rider at the track.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pol Espargar\u00f3<\/strong> faces the Arag\u00f3n Grand Prix with extra confidence after his performance at Silverstone, where he achieved pole position and finished fifth in the race -his best result to date as an official Repsol Honda Team rider.<\/p>\n<p>Espargar\u00f3 has been on the podium at MotorLand on three occasions, with <strong>two victories<\/strong> (one in Moto2 and one in 125cc) and a third place (in Moto2).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Rider statements<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23MM93&amp;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#MM93<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Arag\u00f3n is always a track that I enjoy racing at and we have had strong results there in the past. But we can\u2019t rely on what we did in the past, in 2021 we arrive there in a different situation so have to approach the weekend in the correct way, see our level and see what our opponents are doing. It\u2019s great to be back racing at MotorLand after missing the rounds in 2020 and hopefully we can put on a good show for the fans. In recent races we have been closer to the front so the aim is to continue this and see what\u2019s possible on Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23POL44&amp;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#POL44<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am very excited to be riding in Arag\u00f3n, the weekend in Silverstone was a great one for us.
