When he was setting quicker times than the frontrunners, however, he had to serve three &#8216;long lap&#8217; penalties that hindered his attempt to move up the order. Garc\u00eda Dols finished the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 17th position.<\/p>\n<p>Teammate <strong>Ryusei Yamanaka<\/strong> would cross the line in 20th, improving on his grid position. The Japanese rider tried to maintain a consistent pace throughout the 23-lap contest.<\/p>\n<p>Garc\u00eda Dols is now 18th in the overall standings, with 19 points. I started well and I was into the Top 15, coming on strong, but contact with another rider made me go wide and I lost touch. I had to close up a big gap and also had the &#8216;long lap&#8217; penalty from the other day to do. I was quite fast with it and I started riding with better times than the frontrunners, which is when I was able to catch the front group. Then, once again, I got two long lap penalties for exceeding the track limits and they caused me to finish in this position. Nevertheless, I am very happy with my pace and I think I will go to Montmel\u00f3 prepared.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><strong>Ryusei Yamanaka<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI didn&#8217;t start badly at all, but on the fast corners it was hard for me to pass many riders. It is difficult for us to find a good setup for the race, and that hurts me a lot. I tried to join the group in front of me from the start, but I wasn&#8217;t able to do it.
