He cut the gap to the series leader in the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alonso L\u00f3pez<\/strong> was in the mid-field group, gaining valuable experience on his first visit to the fast Dutch track.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tAlonso L\u00f3pez<br \/>\n\t<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I started pretty well and I was steadily overtaking other riders; I felt comfortable today. At one point in the race we arrived in a group at the last braking point and I had to cut the chicane. I was given a second and a half penalty and I thought I had to let other riders who were behind me pass me again. That made me lose contact with the group I was in and I went back to the group that was chasing us. A subsequent incident with another rider caused me to waste more time as I went into the gravel and destroyed the rear tyre, so now I have to learn from the mistakes and focus on the next race in Germany. We\u2019ll see if it goes better for us.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>\n\t\tAr\u00f3n Canet<br \/>\n\t<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>It was a fun race When I wanted to, I was able to move to the front. In the end, I finished in second position; I wasn\u2019t able to fight for the victory because, with three laps remaining, Mart\u00edn took advantage of a situation that does not usually occur, which is that four riders at the front suddenly slowed the pace. In the end I fought for second position on the last corner and I got it. I used the same strategy as last year, when I won the race, but this time I wasn\u2019t able to win. It would have been fun, whether I managed it or not.
