Pero esta vez no hablamos de vueltas r\u00e1pidas, victorias o podios.<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n fue la cobertura televisiva la que firm\u00f3 un dato que rompe con todos los r\u00e9cords anteriores: un total de cien c\u00e1maras se encargaron de cubrir absolutamente todos los \u00e1ngulos del GP, a fin de garantizar la mejor retransmisi\u00f3n para los aficionados.<\/p>\n<p>Este hito coincidi\u00f3, adem\u00e1s, con un onom\u00e1stica muy particular. Treinta a\u00f1os antes, y tambi\u00e9n en Assen precisamente, la Honda pilotada por Randy Mamola <strong>alojaba la primera c\u00e1mara<\/strong> on board empleada en el Campeonato del Mundo de Motociclismo.<\/p>\n<p>El t\u00e9cnico responsable de esta audacia fue David Earl. Y <strong>result\u00f3 ser un gran \u00e9xito<\/strong>, si bien bajo la lluvia de Assen, aquel s\u00e1bado, Randy Mamola se escap\u00f3 en la salida y lider\u00f3 hasta la \u00faltima vuelta, sin ofrecer m\u00e1s im\u00e1genes que las del circuito vac\u00edo que iba recorriendo casi en solitario.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bxrepsol.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2022\/08\/29050633\/camaras-on-board-comparativa.jpg\" alt=\"Comparaci\u00f3n de una c\u00e1mara on board actual y una de 1985\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>En constante evoluci\u00f3n<\/h4>\n<p>A pesar de esto, las im\u00e1genes impresionaron a los aficionados y a todos los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, y la retransmisi\u00f3n del GP de Holanda de 1985 se convirti\u00f3 en todo un hito medi\u00e1tico. Por supuesto, <strong>desde entonces nada fue lo mismo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Mundial de MotoGP ha evolucionado mucho en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas y, al igual que las c\u00e1maras on board, que hoy solo pesan 78 gramos, todo ha alcanzado un alto grado de sofisticaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica: desde el propio dise\u00f1o de la moto hasta la eficacia de los carburantes, pasando por <strong>temas tan importantes como la innovaci\u00f3n o la seguridad<\/strong> de los propios pilotos.<\/p>\n<p>No podemos olvidar que, por ejemplo, las motos de la categor\u00eda reina llevan hoy 20 litros de carburante, con los que deben ofrecer un m\u00e1ximo rendimiento, en un campeonato cada vez m\u00e1s exigente.<\/p>\n<p>Alcanzar estos logros es resultado de arduas tareas de investigaci\u00f3n. <strong>La labor conjunta liderada por Repsol y Honda<\/strong> desde hace m\u00e1s de veinte a\u00f1os es un ejemplo m\u00e1s de este esfuerzo; solo una muestra de las cotas que el Mundial de MotoGP puede seguir alcanzando en el futuro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 1985, at the Dutch GP, Randy Mamola&#8217;s Honda NSR500 carried the first onboard camera behind its windshield.
