Next up on the calendar is the Grand Prix of the Americas \u2013at a favourable circuit for the Repsol Honda Team duo. The event becomes the only MotoGP race held in the USA this season, but it is in Austin, Texas, that the team and <strong>Marc Marquez in particular have enjoyed special success in previous years<\/strong>. In 2013, Marquez took his first victory in the premier class at the track, joined in second place by Pedrosa. They repeated a podium double in 2014 and a year ago, with Pedrosa sidelined through injury, Marquez managed another win. After intensive preseason work and looking to continue development of their Honda bike for this season, Marquez and Pedrosa come to Austin first and third in the overall standings.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>&#8220;We\u2019ll see how we manage in Austin this year. It\u2019s a track that I like, where I feel strong, and where I\u2019ve always had good races and good fun. That said, <strong>the track rewards strong acceleration<\/strong>, which hasn&#8217;t been one of our strongest points so far this year, so we\u2019ll have to wait and see how we can manage the situation. We\u2019ll keep working hard, as we did in Argentina, and we\u2019ll try to find the best pace for the Sunday race.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dani Pedrosa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to this round. There\u2019s something special about the atmosphere of the American races, and besides, this is a track that I like very much. I didn\u2019t make it here last year, but I made the podium the previous two seasons so the memories of the track are good.
