Five days after the conclusion of the Aragon Grand Prix<\/a>, the MotoGP World Championship began another round this Friday. The fastest rider on the first day of the San Marino Grand Prix was ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia<\/strong>, followed by fellow title challengers Marc M\u00e1rquez <\/strong>and Jorge Mart\u00edn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedro Acosta<\/strong> had led the way for a good part of the Practice alongside Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>. The Spanish rider, however, crashed in the last few minutes, which almost left him out of direct passage to Q2. With the rest of the Ducati and KTM riders fighting for the Top 10 positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With just two minutes ahead of Practice, Aleix Espargar\u00f3<\/strong> lost control of his Aprilia at turn 2, which resulted in several laps being cancelled due to the presence of yellow flags. Even so, the final flying lap was completed for all the riders and Franco Morbidelli <\/strong>and Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> secured their places in Q2 in extremis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanying the Top 3, Franco Morbidelli, Enea Bastianini, Pedro Acosta, Marco Bezzecchi, Maverick Vi\u00f1ales, Fabio Quartararo <\/strong>and Jack Miller<\/strong> go directly into Q2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
