He dominated Q2, going almost a second quicker than his nearest rival.<strong> Pedro Acosta<\/strong> and <strong>Pecco Bagnaia <\/strong>closed off the Top 3 on the grid, both having briefly held the top spot during the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the entry of a <strong>KTM <\/strong>and a <strong>GasGas <\/strong>ahead of up to three <strong>Ducati <\/strong>in Q1, Q2 looked to be a very interesting race but with one favourite: <strong>Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>. It was not a bad session for the<strong> Repsol Honda<\/strong> riders, with<strong> Joan Mir<\/strong> fourteenth, as he had been in <strong>FP1 <\/strong>on Friday. <strong>Luca Marini<\/strong> improved his time in the final moments and finished nineteenth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marini <\/strong>and <strong>Mir <\/strong>went out to Q1 with the aim of springing a surprise, but with the track now dry and the sun shining, it was <strong>Brad Binder <\/strong>and <strong>Pedro Acosta <\/strong>who managed to secure the available places in <strong>Q2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marini <\/strong>was the fastest of the Repsol Honda pair in <strong>Q1<\/strong>, posting his best time of <strong>1:49.802 <\/strong>on his last flying lap.
