His teammate, Enea Bastianini (Ducati) was second. Aleix Espargar\u00f3 closed the Top 3, 3 tenths off the top time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the lead of the reigning World Champion, the majority of riders lowered their times from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxrepsol.com\/en\/motogp-en\/results-of-the-first-day-of-the-qatar-test-2024\/\">first day of testing<\/a>. However, due to physical problems, both<strong> Joan Mir<\/strong> and <strong>Luca Marini <\/strong>were not able to perform at 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite his discomfort, Mir managed a solid second runout of the day and completed a total of 32 laps. The <strong>Repsol Honda Team<\/strong> rider was quicker than the previous day, finishing <strong>nineteenth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marini<\/strong> has felt better than he did on Monday and completed 60 laps at the Qatari circuit. The Italian improved his feeling, as well as his performance compared to the first day. After the first exit I was feeling really unwell and had to stop to try and recover some strength. I was able to rest and go back out on track but my condition was not 100% so we could only do a few things. Then on the last exit I had a fast crash which meant we couldn\u2019t do the practice starts, so it was quite a complicated day. It would have been good to have this final day at our best, but we have been able to make good progress over the course of these tests. Now we turn our attention to the race and trying to take the maximum result from it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Luca_Marini\"><\/span><strong>Luca Marini<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This test has allowed us to understand many things and we were able to try everything that was on the list for us and for HRC. We made a big change on the bike today which lost us some time in the first hour. Even like this, we have been able to get a lot of data and we can prepare well for the GP. Each day I have been able to improve my feeling with the bike but we still need to do a bit of work to improve our performance over one
