The seventeenth round of the season came to an end with victory for Jorge Mart\u00edn (Ducati) <\/strong>at the Chang International Circuit<\/strong>. In an intense race in which tyre management was crucial, Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) and Brad Binder (KTM) completed the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marco Bezzecchi, Aleix Espargar\u00f3, Fabio Quartararo, Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>, Luca Marini, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Johann Zarco rounded off the Top 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these results, the tight fight for the title<\/strong> remains open, with a difference of 13 points<\/strong> between Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next event<\/a> will be in two weeks’ time: The Malaysian Grand Prix <\/strong>at the Sepang International Circuit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repsol Honda Team riders finish a tight race in Thailand<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After just falling short of the podium in Saturday’s sprint race<\/a>, Marc M\u00e1rquez <\/strong>had more difficulties on Sunday. Despite maintaining a good pace during the race, the Repsol Honda Team rider finished seventh. After making a good start that kept him in the leading group, he was involved in several battles with his rivals for positions in the Top 5. However, he eventually crossed the finish line in seventh position but, after a late penalty for Aleix Espargar\u00f3, he moved up to sixth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joan Mir<\/strong> managed to improve his feeling from Saturday and ended the Thai Grand Prix with a twelfth position that he fought for until the chequered flag. Involved in several battles for the points and at one stage in the Top 10, he placed 12th<\/strong>, and is ready for the next Grand Prix in Sepang<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
