The Mandalika International Circuit <\/strong>hosts the fifteenth round of the MotoGP season this weekend. The Indonesian track saw Aleix Espargar\u00f3 (Aprilia) <\/strong>finish the opening day as the fastest rider, with a time of 1:30.474<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Top 10<\/strong> was completed by Maverick Vi\u00f1ales, Marco Bezzecchi, Brad Binder, Jorge Mart\u00edn, Marc M\u00e1rquez, Miguel Oliveira, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another free practice session<\/strong> will take place on Saturday<\/strong> at 4:10 (CEST), before qualifying<\/strong> at 4:50. The Indonesian GP sprint race<\/a> will begin at 9:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc M\u00e1rquez moves into Q2<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Returning to a circuit that is not yet well known to the MotoGP riders the Repsol Honda Team<\/strong> used the day as a way of adapting and progressing for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> closed the morning session in 14th position. In the afternoon, where the drivers had a full hour to attempt to make it into Q2, he improved his pace and managed to break into the Top 10, in sixth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joan Mir<\/strong> finished the first session of the day in 18th position. In the decisive afternoon run, the Repsol Honda Team <\/strong>rider improved his feeling but, in the final stages when he was on course for his best time, he suffered a crash that prevented him from making the cut. He will be forced to go through Q1<\/strong> for the Indonesian Grand Prix<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
