Jorge Mart\u00edn (Ducati) <\/strong>took victory in the sprint race for the Japanese Grand Prix<\/strong>. After a fight for third place, Brad Binder (KTM) and Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) completed the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also earning points were: Jack Miller, Johann Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi, Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Maverick Vi\u00f1ales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this result, Jorge Mart\u00edn closes the distance between him and Pecco Bagnaia to 8 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premier class riders will once again fight for points in the main race of the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday at 8:00 (CEST).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hard-fought sprint race by Repsol Honda Team<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Marc M\u00e1rquez <\/strong>crossed the finish line in the same position in which he started: Seventh<\/strong>. The Repsol Honda Team<\/strong> rider had a good start that placed him in fifth position for much of the race. However, after a duel with Bezzecchi, he lost a couple of places before the chequered flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joan Mir<\/strong>, who started fifteenth, managed to gain some places off the line and remained in 12th position during the opening laps. After the midway point of the race, he dropped a few places to finish 13th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
