The Repsol Honda team rider has been alternating gym and motocross training to prepare for the three weeks of consecutive competition that begin this Friday, while he remains focused on working together with his team and Honda to improve the performance of the RC213V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joan Mir has also been on the podium at the Italian GP, with a pair of third places -2018 in Moto2 and 2021 in the premier class. The Repsol Honda Team rider will once again have the opportunity to demonstrate his talents and continue adapting to his bike. We start in Mugello which is always a very demanding weekend, the track is very fast and flowing. I\u2019ve had some great battles there in the past and pushing the top speed of a MotoGP bike down the straight is always enjoyable. We of course need to see what possible this weekend and see what we can do together with the team to get the maximum from the bike and keep trying to make steps forward.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Joan Mir<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It seems a long time since we were last on the MotoGP bike, but I have been able to do some good riding and training during this time away. We have one more push before the mid-season break, so of course I want to achieve my maximum during this triple. A lot of time on the bike is something I am looking forward to as I think we can keep making progress forward and unlock what we have been missing. Mugello is the first of the three races in a row, I was on the podium there in 2021 and it\u2019s a spectacular circuit to ride.
