Montesa Cota 4 RT

A champion motorbike

The Honda Montesa Cota 4RT is the only four-stroke bike to race in a World Championship

Whilst other brands continue to depend on two-stroke engines, since 2005 Honda Montesa has remained faithful to its four-stroke engine throughout its evolution, which has included the displacement increase from 250cc to 260cc and various electrical adjustments. It is the winningest motorbike in the history of trial.

In any field

When in the hands of Toni Bou and Takahisa Fujinami, there's no obstacle that can resist the Honda Montesa

Outside the track

When the Montesa began its era in 2005, landscapes were located where watching the Cota 4RT at work would be unmissable. Additionally, an incredible discovery was made under the seas and we saw a giant hurtle through the sky.

On 5th January, the dwarf planet Eris was discovered in our solar system.

A team of Japanese scientists aboard a deep-sea submersible discovered life in the Mariana Trench at a depth of over 10 000 metres (32 800 feet)! That's the deepest point on Earth!

That April, Airbus made its first flight of the A380, the world's largest passenger airliner ever built.
